Let's stop this juvenile, 'he's a criminal', pretending that everyone from Obama to Johnson* somehow wasn't.
That said, if this is true (even if it isn't, he's saying it), it would be orders of magnitude more diabolical than Reagan's people bribing Ayatollah Khomeini to delay the release of US hostages in order to defeat Carter. It is therefore damning and unforgivable.
So Trump is negotiating on his own with the leader of a foreign power. This is the domain of the Executive and the Dept. of State. But then, a lot of people who are not the President are in on that act these days.
But let us assume that all this is true and the challenger is engaged in this subterfuge. Can someone explain to me how this is somehow 'hamstringing' the dementia-patient-in-chief from restraining the Israelis? By talking with Netanyahu, is Trump taking away all the 'cards' that the current administration has to play to end the slaughter?
If that is the case, why even go through the formality of an election next month? By that reasoning, Trump is already the president.
i strongly doubt, that a fresh elected trump will go/sent into prison and when i hear all these anti-israelian "left"-wingers, that there is no difference between trump and harris .......... maybe you deserve this
and what will they do? Send the sheriff's office down to the White House for a shoot out with the Secret Service? Trump will just have the judge killed as "an official act".
Hair Furor is going to prison. At 61% of the population, there aren't enough white people to put that rancid vat of Cheese Whiz in office. Even when you consider that, as of the latest American Community Survey in 2022, US Census Bureau estimates that 60.9% of the US population were White alone, Non-Hispanic Whites were only 57.7% of the population. But of course, the dedicated MAGA-maggot White Insurrectionist Terrorist Element embedded in state election offices are going to try the same shit they pulled last time. I say round 'em up for expulsion to Russia, along with the phony elector folks, Speaker Mike, and the 147 GOP reps who voted to overturn the election last time.
if the judge insists, the judge will propably go to jail, or worst, but hey, there is "no difference" between harris and trump and hey, palestine über alles, right?
There's some wooly thinking going on here. Trump will be sentenced in mid November. He won't take office until late January. While he's being sentenced, Biden will be president. Yes, the judge can sentence him to correctional time and he may squeal briefly but he'll go to prison.
Good thing is he's pushing "states rights" like he knows what he's talking about... It's when there will be rotten, squeezed orange juice smelling up whatever is left of his own logic.
That Trump is postitioning himself to be one of the more powerdul and persuasive international autocrates there is. The man has personality defects and is mentally illl yet, his wealth protects him from the law.
I am losing faith in my ability to both convey ideas as well as to understand the rationale of the ideas that are being conveyed to me, especially in this thread. Unfortunately, I am not 'detached' enough to just dismiss the whole thing. In other words, I might be 'hooked' here.
Let me see if I am on the right track here with the premises:
Trump has personality defects, mental illness ... and is a criminal (as @bellarome@diasporasocial.net has argued).
Some fair minded people observed 1. and took some action, i.e. trying to get the defective, mentally ill criminal into court and, ideally, incarceration (capital punishment, a la Saddam Hussein, on a good day? Sorry, hyperbolic. Forget that I wrote that.)
Somehow, multiple times, justice keeps getting deferred. Trump is free and possibly within a hair's breadth of returning to the Oval Office, which, of course, is like a Clive Barker novel.
But, buuuuttttttt, Trump is broke. (I think that you, @HU Art Sound2, have pointed this out as another defect.)
And yet, despite 4., he continues to evade justice.
Now all these things 'about the guy' seem very disreputable on their own. The thing is, when one includes no. 4 in this list and accepts it as true, there seems to be a rather troublesome 'plot hole' (Oh, that's good. Did I come up with that Hollywood trope of the hack screenwriter analogy on my own?).
So, okay, El Donaldo is a walking contradiction. Are you saying that the narrative about said walking contradiction (as outlined in # 1-5 above) is also a contradiction? Because if you're not, it reads as if he is more than a strange hyperreal phenomena of the Last Days; he would have to be some kind of force of nature ... like a diety.
Trump is not that interesting to even think much about him... Having lived in NYC when he was in the news about every other day for boosting about some new venture or his yacht with the chopper landing strip, way before he even thought of getting into politics, he operated pretty much like Giuliani, being wizard of confusion, turmoil and deception to mimic some kind of agency.
There was a news vodeo when he came out of his Taj Mahal bankruptcy negotiations that I can't find anywhere. He looked like he ate crow, was completely beaten up by someone, and had this sheepish grin on his face - because he got away with crashing a casino and the video below kind of states why they let him get away.
Trump is not that interesting to even think much about him…
Just a quick reminder: less than a week ago, you were interested enough to post the following ...
Trump admits he’s speaking to Netanyahu “almost every day” to sabotage Biden’s ceasefire efforts.
Even I admit that this isn't just a little detail. But where did you get the word 'sabotage'. Did DJT say this someplace? Did a phone call get leaked someplace? My search is coming up empty.
Anyway more to the point, I just want to ask the bright lights here in this forum, what is worse, the 'crime' of the 'State case' or (allegedly) prolonging the war in Gaza?
He won't be out on bail pending appeal. He's been convicted of 34 felonies. The judge will determine sentence and execute it. If it's time behind bars and Trump wants to appeal, he'll do so while sitting in prison.
Alright. This statement is about telling Kike-istan that they should or should not strike petroleum and nuke sites in Iran, not about a ceasefire in the Gaza war, right? Or do I need to watch it again? If this is all 'splitting hairs', well, what can I say ...
Not like anyone here cares about this issue, but I vaguely recall Trump saying something to the effect that if his opponent wins, "Israel will cease to exist." (Someone correct me if I am wrong).
If that were true, I'd vote for her and tell everyone I know to do so as well. No kidding.
The problem is that I don't believe that one. Someone want to convince me otherwise?
P.S. I did try to watch the youtube video you linked to @HU Art Sound2, but I got an "isn't available anymore" message from YT. Do you mind giving the title and the publisher, perhaps so I can try to track it down?
